The problem of cultural distinctions
The interaction of cultures is a special type of direct relationship and links which could be formed at least between two cultures and influences, mutual changes which could be appeared within these relationship.
The range of causes of intercultural conflict is extremely wide. Not only lack of language’s skills and misunderstanding as a result could be the basis of the conflict, but there are some deeper reasons also (sometimes even communication’s participants can’t realize them).
The main cause of cultural shock is cultural difference. There are different cultural shock characters – from exaggerated care for clean dishes and food quality to psychosomatic disorder, anxiety, insomnia, fear.
Social values are the basis of national nature. Then national nature can be defined. It is a set of major methods of communication and activity’s regulation, which are based on made by nation society values system.
Stereotypes are integral part of any culture despite its validity or baselessness, verity or falsity. Stereotypes have an impact on psychology, behavior, consciousness and interethnic contacts.
Prejudice is a biased, hostile attitude to ethnic group representatives, their culture and any facts connected with its activities, behavior and social position
